Purple_Haze 12-31-2005, 06:33 PM for the DRL i use the "Orange" ones, they look amazing, and really stand out. As for the headlights, i use Nighthawks, They made night and day difference when i put them in. Really noticeable. Never said they were the best, just said they worked great for me. And DRL's are 3157 not 3057 :) JCL82 12-31-2005, 08:44 PM Another question, When i get the bulbs, would they run hotter then the normal bulb and mess up the casing/holder ? JCL82 12-31-2005, 09:03 PM Cool, i found a sweet site,it tells you what kind of bulbs you neeed for you truck, and gets every light on the truck... http://www.sylvania.com/ Here's for a 02' silverado... http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/AutoLRG-Results.htm scrapdaddy 01-01-2006, 03:00 AM Cool, i found a sweet site,it tells you what kind of bulbs you neeed for you truck, and gets every light on the truck... http://www.sylvania.com/ Here's for a 02' silverado... http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/AutoLRG-Results.htm i heard ifu get brighter more powerful bulbs they burn out your light switch is that true jethro_3 01-01-2006, 10:17 AM As many people have switched the headlights out to projectors and bigger watt bulbs I have yet to see a switch burn out due to power overload. I have seen switches go out but not for overload. That is why Chevy has a relay, keeps the higher power on one side of the relay and low controlled power on the cab side as I understand it. fake_usa 01-02-2006, 11:23 PM for the DRL i use the "Orange" ones, they look amazing, and really stand out. Thx FiTxAg04 01-02-2006, 11:44 PM Anyone have any experience with these new xenon bulbs (non HID)? There are several brands I have found through some internet searches. Toucan makes a par for around $30. Then, I also found a couple of high dollar Japanese brands (Polarg, Raybrig) that have pairs for around $100. I'm currently running Silverstars in both my hi and lo beams and they do in fact make a night and day difference over OEM. Then I heard about these new xenon lights and would order them in an instant if I knew that they make an improvement over my Silverstars. Rollingbones 01-03-2006, 01:25 AM I don't know if they'll "light up" brighter than the Silverstars, but I can tell you they'll more than likely burn out three times as fast!!! The Zenon's I have now are good, but I had to replace the bulbs twice the first year I used them, though the current set have been in there a year and a half now and doing well. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
