If it is the same as my wife's '95 with 2.2, it is fairly simple. I put a jack under the engine to support it. I removed the upper motor mount and the belt. Now I was also replaceing the power steering pump and the water pump, so I had the power steering pump and the alternator already off and the tensioner was very easy to get to. Two bolts hold the tensioner assembly in place. If you have skinny arms you may be able to get to the tensioner without removing much, but I would rather remove a few extra things and have room to work. If the '95 is different than the '96, someone please chime in.
