Bosch PlatinumsChevy4life1985 12-29-2005, 12:58 PM DONT USE THESE IF YOU HAVE COIL PACKS. Reason being is that the coil pack cant handle them. I know from experience. My coil just blew because I used those Bosch Platinums with the two prongs. My mechanic told me that the best plugs for our cars are the ones that come with the car which I believe are AC Delco. Just giving you guys the heads up. Cavalier2000 12-29-2005, 01:43 PM Bosch is shit no matter what they make. if it says Bosch it is shit cousincletus 12-29-2005, 06:58 PM Thanks for the advice. Were the plugs the cause of your car running bad a while ago? Chevy4life1985 12-30-2005, 06:12 AM No problem. Saab's are notorious for the coil breaking if the wrong plugs are used. Chevy4life1985 12-30-2005, 06:12 AM And yes it was the problem. Well that and the cat. 89Sunbird 12-30-2005, 11:19 AM You didnt try to gap your Platinum 2s, did ya? :grinno: RahX 12-30-2005, 02:18 PM its not the fact that they were bosch, its the fact that the elctrodes like to snap off and create a .075-.1" gap. coilpacks dont like stuff like that. and i still hate bosch. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
