Hey guys, I clipped mirrors with a 94 Dodge caravan the other day and am looking at options for replacingthe mirror. I do not think it is a power mirror, and saw I can get the whole thing online for about $60.

my question is, how easy is it to replace(assuming the owner will let me just replace it for him)

I know its easy to replace mirrors, nut knowing the exact process is always better going in. anybody know if there is a trim strip I have to remove or if I have to remove the whole door panel?

only other question is if the mirror is powered(did they have powered mirrors in 94?) what are the wire connections? are they just a male/female type plug or would I have to strip/reconnect the bare ends??

any help/advice/links much appreciated!!

Thanks in advance.

In order to replace the mirror you will need to remove the door panel. The only hassel will be removing the window crank you will need to go to a auto supply store to buy or rent the right tool, good luck its not that bad just watch for the plastic clips but they also can be replaced. elec. mirrors will come with the right plug ins
