Scantool for ABS? frehol 12-28-2005, 07:35 AM
Hi, Have trubble with the ABS, ABS lamp is on. I checked the front wheel speed sensors and they where clogged with dirt and metall dust. Cleaned them and now they give the expected output, messured with a DVM. But it looks like the ABS needs to be reset before it starts to work again... Now to the scantool Q: Does any OBD-II tool work to access and clear ABS trubble codes? If not, which ones does? Veichle is a -95 blazer V6 CPI with VCM under hood and 4WAL /Freddy maxwedge 12-28-2005, 09:47 AM Snap on mt2500 is one type. When problem is fixed they usually clear there self every ign cycle. Check for codes with a abs capable scanner. And post back code no.
