If anyone would like a supercharger kit developed for these underated performance vehicles please send requests to PROcharger or other supercharger companies. Hopefully this will urge them to develop forced induction and other performance products.

Ill remember that when im driving my van and think to myself..mmmmmm i want to supercharge my VAN so i can beat a honda or some little car. These new vans are NOT ment to be supercharged or turbo charges. New pistions and a bunch of little things get involved in this, not a simple prosses to install this and thats it.

You should be able to beat a rice rocket HONDA anyway. They are so slow. New or Old any vehicle can be custom it makes no difference. The early 90s caravan/voyager came factory turbocharged and had 5 speed manual transmissions. Engines are built overly strong for the most part to increase quality reliablility. Most any engine built today can handle a little boost. This is by no means a race vehicle just a way to make you get to soccer practice on time and its fun. Boosting less then 100hp wont hurt anything. Oh, and by the way some aftermarket companies have accepted our request. This doent mean they will make any kits but it gets them thinking about it.

I think any good speed shop would be up to the task of putting a supercharger on a minivan. The manifold is two piece. I don't think it wouldn't be that hard to make an adapter plate to set the supercharger onto the base and then attach the original top section (or a custom one) onto the supercharger and set up a drive belt system. Then you need bigger injectors and upgraded engine management. I would think $6000-$7000 should do it.

I got a little bord today, and whipple INC. make good superchargers, they might make one, or at least come close. Well you will get to soccer practice on time, and beat all the other parents getting there. lol.

wouldn't it be easier to just put a small nitrous system on the engine if its in decent shape?

You would blow your heads. If you do a wet system with a 50 shot, its possable. Dont do a dry, you will heat thet engine up so much where you can blow all your sencers. You know what, you can blow a sencer with a nos system, i just thought of that just now. i say dont even do nos.

Is the Intrepid a front wheel drive?

Not much room in the Caravans to put any extra parts from what I have seen.

yes intrepid's are front wheel drive and a caravan has more engine compartment space than an intrepid

I would sure hate to work on an Intrepid then ;)

the only real difference between the engines is the caravan is mounted east to west, the intrepid is mounted north and south so the intake and exhaust manifolds would of course be different
