I have a 1997 chev. Tahoe 5.7. It has to be cranked 3 to 4 times before it starts most of the time other times, it will start just fine. I did replace the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor befor this started happening. Also the weather has changed from mild to cold, but not real cold since the tune up. I have heard of a possiable pressure leak in the fule system???
Any one have any suggestions?

PCV valve? Fuel Filter? Air Filter? were these replaced as well? The Fuel Filter should be done every year.

How long do you crank? 3-5 seconds?

I turn the key on for 2-3 seconds, then crank, it fires much quicker. This seems to give the fuel pressure time to build.

Could be a couple things causing this.
Fuel pump check valve allowing fuel pressure to bleed back
Leaking fuel pressure regulator
Lean injector poppets
