99 zr2 blazer farrah1 12-24-2005, 10:58 AM
I have a '99 zr2 blazer. The fuel gauge reads full all the time. When the vehicle is off is the only time the gauge goes to E. I was wondering if a short in the lead from the tank would cause this or if I should be looking elsewhere. Tom OverBoardProject 12-24-2005, 11:09 AM My guess is it's the sending unit in the tank. They rarely last forever. I might be wrong here but I believe that the best way to test this is to drop the tank and try another farrah1 12-24-2005, 11:51 AM My guess is it's the sending unit in the tank. It should change as the float arm is moved farrah1 12-24-2005, 04:00 PM Thanks for the replies. I am glad I found this site. You have a very Merry Christmas as well.
