body mounts

i am lookign into replacing the bodymounts on my 89 runner. but i am havign a hard time finding them. i called energy and apperently 88 and 89 mounts are different. and they don't make for 89. is this possible?

Check with Daystar and the 3rd maker of poly bushings (can't think of their name).

88 and 89 Runners have the same body style, so I can't see what the diff is.

thats what i figured. but there seams to be so differeces. casue in 88 and in mid to late 89 the balljoints are different. so maybe they also changed the style of bodymounts. dunno

personally im not into 89's but my 4runnerteam is :smile: and they bought i dont know how many 88/89 so far, ok that's it :smile: 89 and 90 are completely different, and we talking about everything, harness, bumper, body, bulb harness, gas door etc ...
i know because i frankenstein 89 bumper to my 90 (don't ask why),i cant see how they could be different, 86 maybe ..... but 88 and 89? maybe between i4 and v6 :rolleyes: N.S

i really don't know i am confused. i took a look at energy bushings and 88-89 seams to be different and not at all compatable. so i got the 89 - 94 i believe. i am gonan let you know what happens casue i will be doing it over the weekend along with a body lift.
