My spec v sits way too high. I've gotta lower it soon...

Has anyone installed the eibach sportlines? How much do they lower the car? How does it handle?

I got the progress springs.....from doin research and from people that knows their sh*t.. that is the best springs to get. It has the highest spring rate and it sits lower than most of them (exept for sprint, but sprint sucks) i got my springs for 130. If you have a spec v, you will notice a change in the handling, it's pretty nimble due to it's lowerr center of gravity... the new springs are a bit bouncier but it's still a good ride....Peace

What is the drop when you using these sprinsgs? All the ones I have seen or heard about only drop the car like 1.5 or like 1.7. I want something at least 2in drop. Nothing slammed but low. Do you know anyone that has those springs for our cars. Although $130 isn't bad at all. Where did you order them from, is there a site?Later:alien:

i got it from optauto.com, u can get it from ptuning.com too, but optauto is a little cheaper. the bad thing about optauto is that their springs are sold out (i think). Ptuning delivers faster. The drop on it is 1.7 front 1.5 rear

Do you have any pics of your car with the springs that you have? I would really like to see before I buy. Thanks

I think I also saw some that gives an even 1.5 front and 1.5 rear drop at option auto. How much was your labor for getting those installed or did you do it yourself?

What up everyone. Just wanted to say that I got the Eibach Sportline and the drop looks nice and it drives really good.... In the rear there is like only one finger or less and about 1 finger in the front.....They ran for about 200 dollars plus shipping. I got them from tgracedesigns.com ...Just my two cents so good luck in your ventures.

nah no pics on my car yet, i need a f*ckin digital camera. as for labor, i did it myself... it is 3X as easy putting b15 springs on as opposed to installing honda/acura springs.....The labor only took 1hr. 30min with Impact tools, it could've been done in less time but it was hard to find the lift point on the back in the car, i don't think there is so we had to do it the long way

Are the springs you guys are buying made for the SpecV's. If they are not I heard from of the Salesman at Lightning Motorsports tell me that because of the engine size difference that it will mess the handling up and damage it later. Is this true?

i highly doubt it.... the progress spring rate is almost up there as the stock spec v so it shouldn't be a problem

I almost bought the Eibach Sportlines for my spec-v, but I called eibach first to find out the spring rate. They told me they don't make the sportlines for the spec-v. I called tirerack right away because they are selling sportlines for the spec-v. Turns out they are really made for the se-r and the gxe. The spring rate is way lower than stock spec-v. I'm still waiting to hear if they are going to make sportlines for the spec-v. I'll let you know what they say.

Has anyone put the ground control coil-overs on their spec-v?
Are they any good??
