air pump

Does anyone know how to bypass the air pump by using a shorter belt I was told it could be done, but have not been able to find one. Thanks LaWayne

You'd just have to measure around the pulleys to find the belt length you needed. Is it serpentine or vbelt? If it's serpentine you gotta make sure you're not changing the rotation of anything.

Have you tried buying a belt for the same car but only without an A.I.R. pump? Did your A.I.R. pump go out, or are you trying to free up horsepower?
