On friday of this week, my father, uncle and I are going to attempt to take off my father's cat because it is clogged and ya so, how hard is it to do? We noticed that 2 pipes (coming from the manifold) are going into the cat and I just want to know if there is a easy way to do it.

unbolt the exhaust from the headers and cutout the cat replace with strait pipe....o2 sensor is before the cat so no problems with that...
very easy to do ..i did it to my '94 z71 took bout an hour.
