i have a 96 dodge neon with automatic trans and high miles w/oilleakand was wondering if anyone out there would have a solution/advice. it is leaking from above the oil filter but not from the filter could it be the c/v joint, timing case..?

Sounds like your Rear main seal. Not an easy replacement but is doable.

If ur not done yet, its the oil pressure sensor just above the oil filter that is leaking trough its connector. Replace it.
