squeeling noise when turning full lock to lock?

well the cars been sitting for a few years and im wondering when i move it and turn fully to the right or left it squeels like mad, im thinking its jsut a loose belt.

anyone got any ideas?

hmm...my experiance tells me when i turn the wheel to full left or right until i hit the stop. the engine RPMs go down. with im assuming puts extra strain on the belt. like extra pull from the pump. it could just be a loose belt. or the pully's may need to be cleaned. you can try geting a spray called Belt Dressing. and as the engine is running spray it on a pully. and it should help with that. or you may need a new belt. take a look at it to check it out...and maybe try having someone turn the wheel while you stand with the open hood and check if it is the belt squeling...its possible it could be something else. but it sounds like the belt
