so tonight was another boring friday night, and since i have no life whatsoever, i went to pick up my friend chris to drive around. We are on the strip in our town and we are just cruisng not really bothering anyone, when this big white truck lines up with us with tinted windows. whatever, i continued normally and then i see that he is trying to push us into the oncoming lane of traffic. I am like WTF does this guy want? to race or is he trying to kill me? Either way, i line up with him at the next light and inch up to see if he wants to go, and of course he inches up. Light goes green and we both punch it, through my first gear we are both dead even, we actually both had almost the same exact launch as well. Anywho, first gear is dead even, shift to 2nd gear STILL dead even, and at around 60ish i start to pull away, around 75 we shut down he comes back up, passes me, and he turns away. Jerk. not even a thumbs up or anything, considering he was tryng to kill me at first. Before he turned i managed to catch a glimpse of the make and model and it said Chevrolet Z11.
And to add, i did see a silhoette of a passenger in the car.

2nd race was a big more high speed.
after the first race, which had me shaken up, i knew i had to find another one just so that i wouldnt be afraid to race again. I find this shitty looking neon, with a blue neon light in the interior where the rear view mirror is, and i notice his front left bumper is all messed up. So i figure, typical ricer who can afford LEDs but cant afford to fix his bumper. Whatever though, its nothing none of us havent seen before.
Either way, im driving next to this guy for about 10mins, just staying even with him and pissing him off, since theres nowhere for him to go. he was boxed in. Finally the cars in front of us decide to get out of the way and we catch a red light. I look over, and cant see anything besides a dumbass blue neon, so i figure hes going to hit it.
I was right, all through first gear i put about 2.5 car lengths on him and through 2nd put about another car or 2.

However, i could see he wasnt letting off the throttle and i could smell the infamous flyby coming on, so i didnt let off either, we continued to nearly 110; which is my last gear, and by the that time,he was bus lengths behind. Nevertheless i shut down. This guy must have been embarrased since he got behind me and did not pull up next to me again.

And Neon - lol, those death traps don't have guts to race. This guy was stupid or what? Neon SXT racing - lol lol lol.

^actually i kinda like neons, the earlier ones with 150 hp and they're pretty light weight, but yeah....nice kill manggggg....i wouldn't mind owning a tc in the future

im really not too big on lowering the car, since here in Staten Island, we have some of the worst roads in the country, and i really dont want to risk messing anything up.

i just wanted something to personalize the car without overkilling it, and this seemed to be perfect

No offence man, but my friend died in an accident in a neon. This car is not safe. It's all plastic. My friends life was taken away, from that point on I will never buy or recommend this car to anyone I know.
And my car, it maybe not as fast as SRT4 bus it sure is much safer.

sorry about your friend dude......but to tell you the truth you could get killed in any car in that class the same way....
