bonnevile shakes????

I have a 1994 bonnevile ssei and when i hit on the gas the car thump/shakes. can anyone tell me what could be wrong?

I have a 92 SSEi that does that same thing. It accelerates well until about 3000 RPM's then it shutters and shakes and sometimes backfires, with a very dull sounding plunk. Thought it might be firing order but works fine in Park and Neutral. Considering that it might be the torque convertor because of the way it shakes/Hiccups, and a check engine light that I used to have on but no longer do that points to that as the issue. But would that cause a backfire? Have been reading about Throttle Position Sensor and Camshaft Position Sensor on here but unsure of which to look at first. Any thoughts? Any help you could give would be great, sounds like me and pollemadarin need the same thing

i feel you pain i have the same proplem to many sensors could be wrong to just go and start replacing
