2001 mustang gt vs 2004 civic ex turbo98StangGT 12-09-2005, 08:49 PM the civic is outifitted with a turbo-netics t3/t04 turbo and is otherwise stock. the gt (260 hp 302 ft-lbs of torque) is also stock. Any input as to who would win this race assuming it was a quartermile race. I am really looking for an ubiased opinion, obviously most of the people here are gonna be pre-disposed to liking civics and the people in the mustang forums are gonna be predisposed to liking mustangs. But I am looking for as accurate opinions as I can get. THX Ace$nyper 12-09-2005, 08:55 PM Err then why not post in an area like car comparos? my .02 its a PI stang it should do in the civic. 7th gens are HEAVY. bewsted or not. 98StangGT 12-09-2005, 09:02 PM thx for the input. Just figured I'd post here since I figured maybe some people here have actually raced one of the mustangs 98StangGT 12-09-2005, 09:06 PM and wait, 2500 lb is heavy? isnt that the same weight, if not lighter than the previous generation? BrodyP 12-09-2005, 09:26 PM Boosted vic wont reach 200hp there is no comaparison. Ace$nyper 12-09-2005, 09:29 PM and wait, 2500 lb is heavy? isnt that the same weight, if not lighter than the previous generation? 6th gens are heavy too, I like my feather weight sub ton hatchback with all 5 seats Schister66 12-10-2005, 11:55 AM and just because its boosted doesn't mean its fast...there are boosted Civics that i can beat in my stock GSR...... gmcuajo 12-20-2005, 10:09 PM and just because its boosted doesn't mean its fast...there are boosted Civics that i can beat in my stock GSR...... Those civics aren't really boosted, just have a turbo to hear it. Ace$nyper 12-20-2005, 10:16 PM Those civics aren't really boosted, just have a turbo to hear it. :banghead: gmcuajo 12-20-2005, 10:28 PM No matter I drive a civic and that one is internally stock, I bet on the GT 'cause more power and torque and them are made for the 1/4 mile not for economy. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
