1996 Tracker Sporadic Miss

I recently Filled up with gas and poured a bottle of Heet (yellow bottle) in my tracker. It is on about 1/2 currently. Two nights ago It started a sporadic miss, kinda like you pull the spark plug wire off. It does not do it all the time just under somewhat of a load. When you let off the accellarator under a load it gets better. At an idle speed it will be doing fine then all of a sudden it will start again. It has not completely quit as of yet. Any suggestions?

Have you checked your ignition system? Proper plug gap, good wires, good distributor cap and rotor, good coil. My '92 misses and sputters when the plug gap gets much beyond specifications.

I pulled one of the plugs last nite, it looked okay. Should I start with the plugs and replace and work my way throug the system?

That's what I would do, least expensive and simplest things first. I'm sure you checked the plug gap when you pulled it, however with the 4 cyl engine even 1 improperly gapped plug will give a good hesitation under load. You may also want to check fuel and air filters and the PCV, any of these could also cause hesitation.
