No if you live in the US, the sileighty was a limited production car built by nissan for drifting, the set up that came with the car made the rear end whip a lot which is what the drifters wanted. They are pretty rare now not sure how many were produced. You can take a US 240sx and buy a s13 silvia frontend. But before the sil80 was official, drifters used silvia bumpers on their 180's because it was cheaper than the stock 180sx front.

That's not what I meant. The definition for a sileighty is 180 parts combine with silvia parts right? In America we have the s13 coupe and 180sx but of course it's called a 240sx. The 240sx coupe is basically have the s13 rear and the 180sx front. That's what I meant by that we have sileighty but not official a sileighty.

ok there is an OFFICIAL SILEIGHTY made by Nissan, very limmited numbers I think 400.... Has S13 chasis, hatchback and silvia front end.


then car enthusiasts will refer maybe to having a SIL80 if ther car had been modified with some silvia parts.....maybe sr20det engine...or body panels or interior even.... technically like has been said you could but on a silvia antennae for the radio and call it a sil80 if you want to lmao...

As far as the 240sx coupe being a sil80..... that would be a bad statement. its an american car like that no idea why we didn't get the cool front end here in the states but thats life.

people in japan figured out that the silvia s13 front can fit on the front of a 180sx, so they did that and called it a sileighty, then they thought again and figured out that 180sx can fit on a silvia s13 back and they call that a one-via which is what people have in the states 180 front with the trunk silvia back. thats how it came about.
