91 B250 Conversion Van Blower switch

Has anybody else had this problem:
The higher the speed you run the blower the hotter the switch gets, until finally the switch tears up. The connector is burnt and if I replace the switch, it does the same thing until only low works. It just burns up the switches. By the way, this is the factory blower switch Im talking about. Anyone else with this problem or heard of it?
