Faq thread suggestions.Shortbus 12-02-2005, 05:56 PM If any of you have or know of a faq thread that needs to be added to the blazer faq and how to section just post it up here and I will get it added to the new thread. Please post a link to it and I would prefer that it does not link to another website. But if it is a really good faq or how to and it links to another website I will consider putting it up anyway. I'm getting really frustrated at how slow Af has been lately, I would be able to do more but it really pisses me off when AF freaks out and loses my changes that I've made. Igor says he will be making some changes soon and I hope to corner him about changes to GM once again. Who knows when that will happen though. On a positive note I did get the FAQ updated to a more user friendly interface. I just still need to add the rest of the links. Keep them coming as you find them. Thanks everyone for the help with this. John blazee 12-21-2005, 04:16 PM I like the new layout. I edited the links in my first post to show the thread names instead of the urls, I thought that it might help you out a little when you merge them into the catergories. A couple other suggestions: Add a list of or link to the forum guidelines. A statement to search the forum if the help needed isn't found in the FAQs and How-tos. A list of what to include in threads asking for help..... Year? Engine? Is the Check engine light on? Detailed description of the problem? What has been attempted to fix it? etc. OverBoardProject 12-21-2005, 04:24 PM I haven't looked at what you've done blazee, but I agree with you on the sugestions. If you want create a new topic on it and we can discuss it and fine tune before making it live on the Faq, that way you can get the credit for the post.
