Fastest S-10 BlazerNecro348 12-01-2005, 03:39 PM Does anyone know what the record is, or possibly have a video of the run. thx for replys OverBoardProject 12-01-2005, 07:27 PM Mine's probably the slowest :grinno: Sen Sen 12-02-2005, 05:28 PM I'm betting www.V8s10.org (http://www.v8s10.org/) has the fastest blazers around. GirlBear 12-03-2005, 05:16 AM If i'm not mistaken, Stock S10 Blazers 95 and^up have a governor.(Damned Government) Keepin us down. So I'd say 90mph. Blazer SS 12-05-2005, 09:17 PM I was just wondering why everyone wants to put V8's in Blazers? I have a 98 Blazer LT 4x4 with a V6 and I constantly trounce Mustangs and Camaro's . I mean does anyone remember the Cyclones and the Typhoons ? I have a highly modified V6 and yes it does have a supercharger along with any of the go fast stuff that you can think of, just a little money and time is all that you need. I'll post pictures and give specs a little later. spasticone 12-06-2005, 10:05 AM Typhoons and syclones are turbo trucks. I had an 89 s-10 durango long bed (Yes "Durango" series) that I small blocked and It was quite a bit of fun. always loved the syclones though. a guy at our track had one that looked like a pile, but it ripped out VERY consistent 11.9-12.0's all day long. the87hyper 12-06-2005, 01:55 PM If i'm not mistaken, Stock S10 Blazers 95 and^up have a governor.(Damned Government) Keepin us down. So I'd say 90mph. My 99 chokes out a 98mph :bs: It seems that alot of the GM vehicles that were made in the 90's have governors on them. What gives? Blazer SS 12-06-2005, 02:40 PM You are correct. All late model Blazers have electronic gov. that are rated for the tires that they were sold with. Upgrade your tires and buy a hypertec programmer or any of the programmers that are out there now they can all remove the top speed limiter. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
