Does anyone know the differences between this years ZX-9R Ninja and last year's? Do they amount to something or is it the usual marketing sh*t? How does the seating for the rider compare to the GSX-R 750/1000?

The magazines usualy comment about the Ninja being a sport tourer when compared to the gixxer. The riding position of the Ninjas seems to be more upright than the race like position of the gixxers.

From my understanding, the new Ninjas are just the old bikes with new plastic. The frames and motors are about the same. Although, I could be way off base.

Thanks for your reply. I thought the ZX-9 a bit brutish looking, a bit comparable to the GSX-R 1100M (oil cooler) that I had. Only everybody advises me against the ZX-9 as the market share drops like it has the weight of the bike!!:D Besides, I've been riding with the chaps this weekend on my 2000 GSX-R 750, and NO WAY I'm going to trade in my own Joint Strike Fighter!!
