I was stupid enough to put chrome caps on my tire valve to match the rims...I broke the valve off when I took the cap off:banghead: . It was stuck and I had to use pliers...too much force. I got the stem and sensor replaced at town fair tire but the sensor is reading "0". Does anyone know how to reset or retrain the tire sensor? (03' JGC Overland.)

I believe it is the same as resetting any other feature: you push the button until you bring it up on the screen and then you hold both buttons in together. That's how mine is as well as my friends' C5.

it was simple enough. the guys at TFT put in the wrong sensor!!! they replaced it and now it is reading fine. but they did say that in their manual it says to drive for 5 mins at or above 20 mph and it will automatically reset.

A lot of sensors are trained by driving but you should have a magnet that is for sensor training. It should be by the spare tire.If you have your owners manual it tells how to retrain the sensors, and you are supposed to do it if you rotate the tires.Basically you have to put it in training mode via the overhead console and then put the magnet on each valve stem until the horn chirps and the overhead tells you which one to do.When its done it will say training complete. The magnet forces the tire sensor to transmit a signal and when its in training mode the module recognizes the sensors and their position on the vehicle.
