I can't seem to find the PCV valve on my PA 91 Ultra. The Haynes manual says that it's either connected to the rocker arm cover or the intake manifold. I can't find it at either location. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your car is the Ultra w/ supercharger. It is located on top of the supercharger, towards the firewall, on the passenger side. I think the haynes book is telling where it is for the 3800 N/A motor.

The 91 Ultra was N/A. They started installing the SC in 1992.

The car does not have a supercharger, but I do believe that there are '91 PAs with a supercharger, since every car part retailer I've been too (including the Buick dealer) has a '91 PA w/SC as one of the options. Nevertheless, I still have no idea where the PCV is... :( Any pointers would be appreciated.

You said it's an Utra but has no supercharger?...
Well assuming it's the standard 3800 engine, look on the passenger side (to the right-hand side from sitting inside). Remover the plastic "3800 Tuned Port Injection" manifold cover. Right underneath the bolt that holds that plastic cover is a small plate with another bolt. The PCV valve is under that plate, all you have to do is unbolt and remove it for access. The PCV can be pulled out with needle nose pliers. The PCV is hidden under that plate, which makes it hard to find if you don't have a picture

Thanks for the link volkerc. I just came back from the Buick dealer and asked one of the mechanics where the PCV valve is. It's under a metal cover plate with three screws on it (just like talked about in the thread that volkerc linked).

As far as the engine type goes, the '91 engine comes in two flavors. The L engine, which is non-supercharged, and the 1 engine which is supercharged. I would guess there are three types of '91 PAs: base non-supercharged with L engine, ultra non-supercharged with L engine, ultra supercharged with 1 engine.

Thanks for the help everyone.
