I have a clunk after deceleartion somewhere between the engine and trans. It almost sound slike the fly wheel is catching the starter. has anybody else had this problem? It is not a constant noise, So I don't think it is a rod. Any Ideas? I CANT FIGURE THIS OUT!!!! :banghead:

First thing I can think of is a broken motor mount.

Thanks for the input but I have already changed the motor mounts. The clunk is internal, Could it be the torque converter? Any other suggestions?

could be a torque convertor, broken harmonic balancer, hub bearing, control arm bushings, etc... Can you give us a little more specific description of the sound and when the car makes it?
