Power Locks/Interior lights

I just bought my first Jag. It's an 85 XJ6 in what I would consider to be pretty nice condition. I gave $1300.00 for it at auction and found a receipt in the glove box where 4000 miles ago the top end of the engine, transmisson, brakes and AC had all been worked on to the tune of nearly $5500.00. I have a couple of electrical questions. The interior lights don't come on at all when any of the doors are opened, and I can't imagine all the lights burned out. I checked all of the fuses in both fuse panels today and all is good there. Also, the other night the power locks worked from inside the car. I had a new stereo put in today and now I don't have any locks and therefore can't get into the trunk as I learned today that none of the 3 keys I got with the car unlock the trunk or the doors from the outside. Aside from those minor things, I am very pleased with the car. It still looks great and runs/drives very nice. Any help/suggestions on these minor electrical issues would be greatly appreciated.

I got the interior lights working. Seems the buttons in the door jams were stuck, but still can't get the power locks to work, so I still can't get into the trunk. Any sugestions?
