95 runs fine and then dies

95 b'ville runs good for about 20 minutes and then tach drops to 0 and it dies. if it sits for a while, it starts up and runs fine.. Has been showing a CPS communcation failure and running rich. Any ideas, should I try the CPS or torch the car???? :banghead:

Sounds like the ckps, if there is no saprk and injector pulse when this happens. This would not cause it to run rich though.

I wiggled some wires and got it home. I'll dig deeper tomorrow and try to find it. It ran fine on the way home. Maybe a broken wire. Thanks, mike
