Are they easy to replace? Ape0r 11-22-2005, 09:49 AM I haven't done it myself, but I've heard its as simple as dropping the driveshaft, pulling out the seal, and sticking in the new one. 3mikeman 11-22-2005, 12:40 PM Yep.. I did it just like you said 30 min. tops. thanks 1BadBowTie 11-25-2005, 01:05 AM how expensive is the seal?? i have a 99 thats doing the exact same thing. also does a lot of fluid come out when u take the seal out?? 3mikeman 11-25-2005, 10:05 AM The dealer wanted $65 bucks found the same thing at aoutzone for $15.99. Mine came out easy but it was a little tricky getting the new one started i just tapped it around with a small hammer. The only fluid that came out was on the spline of the driveshaft. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
