it was a pretty boring night at the start... i headed over to my local hang out, starbucks in lincoln center. i had called 209SRT earlier in the day and we met up there. after a little while just chattin and what not his cousin mazda209 rolled up to meet us. this is where the fun started. after a short cruise around town we headed down to a new development to have a few runs. i brought my camera and ernie(209SRT) filmed but i dont know how to post them so i guess you cant see them but here's how they went.

1st couple runs were crappy, road was hella dusty so we had zero traction. so we headed over to the other side of hammer lane(one of the main roads) and back into the new development. so me and mazda209 lined up and he honked us down

3, 2, 1... we were off, we reved up to about 3 or 4 and dropped it, off the line i had hime by about half a car, with his front wheel drive and me having a LS differential i had him of the line, he couldn't keep traction and spun his tires for days, into second i pulled about another half a car, up into third, my weakest gear, he started to gain back some ground but by that time we were goin way to fast for a surface street so we shut down. the next couple races went about the same way, off the line i would get the jump cuz of the differential and god his tires would just not stop spinning. i think the last run we had he spun for a good couple seconds and again into second gear. it was all in good fun...

i think some time soon we're gonna run again from a roll, which will be a good race. btw i was driving my 84 BMW 325e, 121 HP and like 135trq. im not sure what his car puts out but he was drivin a 2000ish mazda3... but if i can figure out how in the crap to get these videos on here ill post em up.

that was fun dude we definatley have to do this more often......and yeah 209 maxda3 definatley has to get his launches down better.....I will try to help him out with that.....

well they weren't too bad, he was just revvin wayyyy to high and dumpin the clutch, if he brought the revs down a bit and feathered it more he would grab alot harder instead of spinning like that

yeah your probably right....I was telling him not to do that but he still did......your car is pretty quick....I know it suprised him cause I seen him run civics and integras and beat them pretty easy...

yeah that was fun but i couldnt get my launches its cool though.
