I got 5 different codes from the check engine light, 12,65,32,17 and 55
12 Direct battery input to PCM disconnected within the last 50 ignition key-on cycles. (Nothing to worry about)
65 Problem with the brake switch. (Check to make sure it is seated correctly and clean)

Where is the thermostat located? Is it easy to replace? This could be where my overheating prob. is coming from... As for my EGR...if I were to block this, would it effect my gas Milage?

As for my EGR...if I were to block this, would it effect my gas Milage? The thermostat is located on the front of the engine on the radiator side. Just below your radiator cap. It is simple to replace. Pick up a Haynes or Chiltons Manual to help you out.

If you block off the EGR it will not hurt your gas mileage. It will however set off the Code 32 over and over. If you run an aftermarket PCM then you will not get the code. I think the part is around $85 from the dealer. Shop around and maybe you can get a better price.

I have also been having an odd prob, whenever it rains and I run through a puddle my power steering goes out for a few seconds. Could this be the pump?

Could this be the pump? Its probably water getting on the belt causing it to slip for a few seconds. Does it squeal at the same time? If so, that's what it is. You should have a plastic guard there to try and keep water/dirt/debris off your belts.

Yes it squeals at the same time, I just purchased a used EGR from ebay...hopefully it works. I notice its connected to a metal line and the power steering reservoir...do I just replace it with the other one? Is this all I need? http://i3.ebayimg.com/03/i/02/5e/fe/80_1_b.JPG

That's not your power steering reservoir, it's the brake fluid reservoir. P/S is on the other side.
