Laguna 6 Speed box

Hi All

Laguna newbie here.

I have recently bought a 51 plate 1.9 expression with 55k on the clock. I have noticed that 3rd gear is a bit notchy to select. Feels as if the synchromesh is on its way out. If the gear is selected slowly you can feel and simetimes hear the gears cross meshing (grinding) as the two sets of cogs mesh.

Had a similar fault on a Mondeo some years ago.

I'm aware that Lagunas have had gearbox issues so is this a fault or just a feature of the Laguna box?

Garage have already tested it and given it the "seems OK to me" line.

i have a 2001 1.9 dci dynamic and experience the same problem.
