Fluid level good. Brake pedal goes down farther than normal and the dash light is indicating brake problems. According to the manual it is recommending towing.
Constructive comments.........PLEASE !!!

Thanks

Sounds like it is time for a master cylinder! When you hold your foot on the brake pedal firmly, does the pedal go down slowly?

I'll be working on it this afternoon. Bought a master cylinder just in case.
All the signs are leading to an MC.
Will let Yall know later.

Thanks

Got out yesterday and checked it out. MC appears to not be leaking. Can't find a leak anywhere. Filled up the MC with brake fluid and tried slowly pumping the air out thru the MC. Brakes still going to the floor.
As I keep pluging away...

Found the problem;

Leaking by internally in the master cylinder. Bled the brakes at each line. Air was present in the front left line. Would'nt ya know it, the last wheel to be checked. Hope this can help someone else..

On to putting a fuel tank back in my GMC Jimmy. Fuel pumps it the tank, what a terrible idea...............
