Replaced clutch, now have ticking noisevicv 11-16-2005, 10:24 PM Just replaced the clutch assy/t.o.bearing on a recently purchased 95 2.0 non-turbo. Original one(?) disintegrated after 120k miles. Clutch works fine, shifts fine, runs fine, but has developed a loud ticking noise (like a stuck lifter or low oil) when the clutch is depressed. No noise when engaged. I think the cheap-ass "ears" on the t.o. bearing broke and the bearing is spinning in the shifter fork. Anybody experience this or have any ideas? Thanks...... janandkyle 11-17-2005, 09:31 PM you may be right i think the same thing has happened on one of my cars in which i installed a cheap ass O'Reilly's Clutch kit vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
