Team Polizei on the GumballDinanM3_S2 11-16-2005, 03:01 AM A BMW M5 dressed up as a police car (kinda) gets escorted through Florence by the Italian police. Amazing video, a must watch. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4290699538413595495&q=bmw Doubletap 11-17-2005, 03:33 PM Yeah that is good. Man some of those roads looked way to tight. If only cops were like that everywhere... But only for me. I don;t need all you maniacs following crazy policeman and blind siding me around a corner. RickwithaTbird 11-18-2005, 12:11 PM that's flippin tight!! nastyNater 11-18-2005, 04:09 PM what is gumball?? DinanM3_S2 11-18-2005, 04:38 PM The guys in the M5 are participants in an annual even known as the Gumball Rally. This is an annual event in which wealthy people race accross Europe in Ferraris, Lambos, BMW M-cars, Benz AMG-cars, Porsches, etc. They drive all day to reach a destination, then party all night, then get back and drive out the next morning. It isn't quite legal and members get tickets all the time, but the people in the event are generally too rich to care. It looks like an absolute blast to me. If I ever had a shot at attending I would love to do something like that. For more info on the Gumball I'd just google it, or watch a movie called Mischief Invasion, which follows one of the teams through the competition. No, Team Polizei is not affiliated with any police agency anywhere, they are just a couple of guys with an M5 that they made to look like a police car for the competition. People often like novelty value in their Gumball cars. sv650s 11-18-2005, 05:09 PM if you want to race in the gumball raly you could just check ebay, every year they sell two spots for charity. crrrazy 11-18-2005, 05:22 PM Yeah that is good.
