Mustang GT-R: On the Proving Groundscrrrazy 11-11-2005, 04:19 AM batman281 11-12-2005, 08:48 AM Pretty damn fast stang I must say, anyway it sounded fast karkrazy1 11-12-2005, 11:58 AM It sounded nice. That's about it. Don't think it's too much faster than a regular GT. beef_bourito 11-12-2005, 03:36 PM that thing sounded beautiful, it goes a little faster than the normal one because of the exhaust, carbon hood (and otehr things that make it a little lighter) and i think a few other goodies. not a whole lot faster but it looks good and sounds awsome. 01L2Cobra 11-15-2005, 02:14 AM "Don't think it's too much faster than a regular GT." "it goes a little faster than the normal" :screwy: The GTR has a Cammer and its not the base 425hp version. here is some pics and info http://www.fast-autos.net/ford/fordgtrconcept.html lamehonda 11-15-2005, 02:18 AM It has to much crap on it that looks "glued" on. 01L2Cobra 11-15-2005, 02:23 AM The GTR was built to run so form follows function just like it always should karkrazy1 11-15-2005, 05:21 PM "Don't think it's too much faster than a regular GT." "it goes a little faster than the normal" :screwy: The GTR has a Cammer and its not the base 425hp version. here is some pics and info http://www.fast-autos.net/ford/fordgtrconcept.html Souds like you know a little more about Mustangs than the rest of us care to. I didn't know that they had a cammer version. Anyways, the "base" gtr, according to car and driver numbers, isn't much faster that the base GT version. In other words, not worth the money. 01L2Cobra 11-15-2005, 10:45 PM Don't believe everything you read in car and driver. There was no “base” GTR. The GTR was nothing more than the test mule for the 05 Grand-Am Cup cars which dominated their class. RickwithaTbird 11-18-2005, 11:53 AM bad video. It sounded fast but looked slow. I think I saw one of those yesterday. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
