Flashing SERV and Injector Light

The car suddenly cut out and wouldn't start eventually draining the battery. The car jump started but the airbag light was flashing. That went out but now the SERV light and injector light flash continously unless I rev the engine. The car is idling well below what it should and the pwer seems down as well.
I've had the battery checked and its come back as being faulty. The alternator is fine (2nd opinion also seeked and this has been confirmed).
On checking the battery, the fluids in the battery were more or less dry! Have topped up the battery and the car started fine this morning but the lights are still flashing. Could these be related? Obviously the battery needs replacing at some stage but why is the SERV and injector light flashing simultaneously?

Sorted the light out by disconnecting the battery over night, but some problems now remain (see new thread)
