Need some help PLEASE!1Bad89SC 11-05-2005, 03:09 PM My '86 720 has started to stall. Stalled twice under load Thurs night. Then I was cruising at 60 and it stopped running. Both times it started back up.So I figured it needed a fuel filter change.Changed it yesterday. Then my wife moved it and the it wouldn't start.Primed with gas.First time started then stalled.Next time started and ran.Anyone have any ideas? Will2 11-06-2005, 07:30 AM Starting with simple/cheap things first. Water/condensation build up in the gas tank. Even if the fuel filter is new. Water will screw it up real quick. Try a couple of bottles of dry gas. 1Bad89SC 11-06-2005, 09:19 AM Someone suggested the fuel pump. I've put dry gas and just recently another additive. billybob 711 12-29-2005, 10:07 PM My '86 720 has started to stall. You say that you changed the fuel filter. There are 2 filters on those, one under the hood and one on the frame by the gas tank. Check your EGR and MAP sensors. Had a problem on my 82 where it would cut out - turned out to be a wire on the fenderwell had worn insulation and grounded out occasionally. Good luck! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
