choosing new brake padsewack 11-03-2005, 08:05 PM I'm trying to decide on a type of new brake pads. I had the front rotors and pads replaced about 5 months ago or so. The front brakes have sqeaked on and off since then. I've had them checked about 6 times and everyone tells me the brakes are fine. The brakes may be fine but i want to get rid of the squeaking. I found some kevlar brake pads and was wondering if that's be better than the semi-metallic that's on it right now. Or should i just do the ceramic. All of them need replaced so i was looking for a cheaper alternative then all ceramic. I do normal driving. Any tips on brakes would be a plus. It's a 98 AWD. Thanks. bumpinkicker04 11-03-2005, 09:08 PM I'm trying to decide on a type of new brake pads. I had the front rotors and pads replaced about 5 months ago or so. I replaced my pads with ceramic ones and I still have brake noise every now and then. So I don't think replacing them will do anything about it. If you find something that gets rid of it let me know. ewack 11-03-2005, 11:46 PM Will do. Oh and if anyone has heard of the brand Lomandi, please let me know your experiences. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
