A Little Helpapurgert 11-02-2005, 10:28 PM Hey Guys, I'm looking for my first car and have loved RX-7s for well forever I guess. I found a 1993 near me (Cleveland, Ohio) with 55,678 miles on it for $3,800 -- http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=191398497&dealer_id=57100817&car_year=1993&search_type=both&make=MAZDA&distance=25&model=RX7&address=44146&certified=&advanced=&max_price=&bkms=1130987776987&min_price=&end_year=2006&start_year=1981&isp=y&lang=en&cardist=7 Do you think this is good? Usually I see people saying that: 1) RX-7s aren't that cheap and 2) If you don't know about them don't get them. (Just for clarity I do know how the rotary works and stuff, but I've never actually worked on one before. I just don't want to think that I know enough to get by and then ruin such a great machine.) Thanks for any and all input, Andrew drftk1d 11-02-2005, 11:02 PM dude thats automatic no wonder why its so cheap puhpaper 11-02-2005, 11:31 PM if you like it, you should get it. you dont need to be a genius to purchase a car you like. besides, everybody has to start somewhere. and if it breaks down, you can learn how to fix it. AWESOME HUH?! :loser: apurgert 11-03-2005, 06:19 PM Yeah, I know it's auto, but my parents want that. So stroke of luck on my part. And if I'm not mistaken you can switch to manual. Also if anything breaks 1) There's the thing about fixing/learning and 2) There's this place which seems to be loads of help. Keep you guys updated. Thanks, Andrew drftk1d 11-03-2005, 11:03 PM trust me when i tell you, a manual swap is quite involved on a fd Capt.Moe 11-03-2005, 11:29 PM if he figures he can do it if need be, power too him...
