92 park avenue sentental headlight control

My 92 park avenue sentental headlight "automatic headlight" will no longer work. The will come on when you first start the car if it is dark outside but will shut off about 15 min later even in the dead of night.
They will also not come on while driving and it starts to get dark.

The manual switch works fine.

My 1992 Park Avenue is having a similar problem. The headlights wont turn off. And if they do turn off they conveniently turn back on in the middle of the night. I now must disconnect the battery ground every time I shut off the car.
