got my Ravin exhaustmike1224 10-31-2005, 12:45 PM well, i found a local Midas that has Ravin's in stock. Even he said the he's sad to see Ravin go, the Vortex has no-where the sound of the Ravin. of course theres a sound clip. remember this is A 4cyl that you're hearing.... don't expect too much mike1224 11-01-2005, 10:32 AM ok guys, i re-recorded the startup and rev's seperately, and no longer have a 12.4MB file. I appologize about having that stupid huge a$$ file there. next rounds on me! here's startup: http://media.putfile.com/start-up9233 (1.04MB) some rev's: http://media.putfile.com/revs95 (1.80MB) more revs's: http://media.putfile.com/revs22 (963K) dmbrisket 51 11-01-2005, 10:50 PM what kinda car is that? sounds good... and damn good for an L4, not ricy imo mike1224 11-02-2005, 06:00 AM 2000 s-10 PU 2.2L 4cyl ctesla 11-02-2005, 09:23 AM 2000 s-10 PU 2.2L 4cyl so Mike, sounded real good for a four. the idle is lower resonance than the import ones, that create a raspy backfire. sounds like a sport truck should. how much did the parts and labor set you back? does it feel like you lost any mid range torque? or gain any top end, when you mash the pedal on C470? still have your cat? or a hi-flow? with less restriction, mileage might increase slightly too, have you seen? inquiring minds want to know?! chris nrt racing mike1224 11-02-2005, 09:42 AM haven't opened it up on c470, thats comimg up soon. In fact I don't work tonight.... It set me back $269.00; $150.00 was labor, $100.00 for the part + tubing. Still have stock cat, for now. Accel seems MUCH quicker and smoother. I don't even realize that i'm cruising at 50-60 until i look at speedo.. I'm gonna top off the tank to see if theres a noticible increase in MPG. mike1224 11-02-2005, 09:45 AM what are some recommendations on Cat's?? dmbrisket 51 11-03-2005, 12:18 AM i have a highflow magnaflow, hasnt set my light off in my 98 s 10.... and those wheels are on your dime??? mike1224 11-03-2005, 07:12 AM no those wheels are on neighbors car.... dmbrisket 51 11-03-2005, 11:58 AM ^^that answers why there was a 4 lug wheel on what i thought was a s 10 lol mike1224 11-03-2005, 12:08 PM hahaha "how'd he do that?" no if i get different wheels, they'll be at least 17". I noticed my truck sits quite low, maybe 2-3" lower than a buddies 2001 2.2L. shocks are next, i suppose. dmbrisket 51 11-03-2005, 12:12 PM get 18's and i say that because of tire price, 17's being an awkard size tend to be a little more pricy rdfirbird92 11-05-2005, 02:15 PM Ravvin is what i have on my firebird, and i love it. :iceslolan my truck has a flowmaster 40 series and it sounds pretty good, but nowhere near as good as yours. mike1224 11-05-2005, 04:16 PM thanks rdbird. mike1224 11-05-2005, 04:19 PM well guys since this is probably related, While driving home today, my SES come on.
