I have a 2000 blazer, i was probing a few wires ans went to start my car and it started fine and drove fine, but there is no interior function besides the radio, no power anything and the gauges dont work. and after you turn the key off the headlights stay on and then when you push the brake pedal there is a weird click noise coming from the silver box behind the pass. side kick panel, when i unplug it the clicking stops and the lights go out, but i still dont have any interior fuction, i didnt cut any wires or anything was just probing for an installation of keyless entry, i checked all fuses and reset the battery and unpluged silver box, and when i turn on the car, and push the brake pedal the noise isnt there, what is the little silver box and is there anything else I can do please help!!

Ok, i fixed my own problem, there is a big plastic plug with a ton of wires going into it under the knee bolster drivers side, almost right above the exposed data port plug. In the middle of that plug is a 7mm screw that you can loosen to take out the plug, well I loosened that screw and couldnt get the plug out so i left it and didnt tighten it back up, so when i was rooting around under the dash to find a relay or something to check i just happened to bump that plug and all my above posted problems stopped and everything was fine, so i tightened up the screw and everything is just peachy now, so if anyone if having similar problems, check the tightness of those screws holding the plugs in place, the are a few plugs under there, good luck, and thanks!
