That's pretty much the peak of my wheelies. Of coures, this was before my 406 bit the dust, lol. It doesn't come up like that now.

Thats just after it sets the wheels down (different day from the above pic though).

And that's coming out of the water. I actually do better "John Force" burnouts with my 355 then I did with that 406, lol. I just cram that 355 on the floor. It'll just bump the chip a little (7000 rpm high side chip). Couldn't do that with the 406. It'd stay on the chip at barely 1/2 throttle, lol.

Looks nice man, but it looks like its got alot of ground clearance, does the front end pull up on launch?

If you read his thread, you'd know the answer.

Yeah it does. Even with the 355, it pulls both tires about 4 or 5 inches.

And it does set a little higher then some cars. It has a stock 1966 Corvair front suspension and we actually have the body raised up a little in the back-long story short-that seemed to have solved a bad case of body roll we had about 2 years ago. However, I believe we could set it back down some now but the car's working really good now.

Yesturday I had a 1.5780 60' time, which is nothing to brag about, but is pretty good when you consider I basically have a stock 350 with a good set of heads in a 2900 lbs car (including me). My 406 at that track would have easily went low 1.40s.

Lol. Yadda yadda yadda.

Seriously though, to just watch, that track is way more fun then any of the other "big" tracks I've been to. I mean look at how close you can get to the cars!

If I could pick, I'd be at the track I was at Sunday every weekend (www.bluegrassracewaypark.com (http://www.bluegrassracewaypark.com)). Super nice track. NHRA member track and the surface is as smooth as silk.
