Ok, I am not asking what tires fit my truck, I have specifics. I was going to get 235/75/15 to replace my 235/70/15 BUT someone said I can jam 30X9.50 15's on my 2wd Blazer and not scrub. I know I will lose some gas mileage but will they fit?

Also will I have to redo my speedo?

Will it mess up the stock Blazer gearing?

Please let me know tonight because I make up my mind tomorrow when I go get them put on. I would love to cram the 30x9.50/15 in there.

Once again, this is for a STOCK 2WD 2000 Blazer LS 4 Door.

No lift at all. Stock Height.

Thanks!

And yes I did search but no one mentions the 2WD when talking 30x9.50/15. Only the 4WD. I read through about 15 threads and no one says for sure if the 30x9.50/15s will work on a stock 2WD 2000 Blazer LS 4DR. I tried google too but not much help.

HELP ME!!

Don't know about the tire clearance for your year, but on my "97" I have 29X9X15 and they just fit. No rubbing and yes I had to re cal my Speedo.

Also, will these fit on the stock 2000 Blazer wheel with no problems. The tire guy said they would but I am not sure. I looked at some of the 4WD trucks on Ebay and the clearance looks almost the same but then again pictures can be wrong.

Anyone know this will work for sure using stock rims and stock ride height?

PLEASE let me know asap because I want to get the bigger ones when I go in tomorrow.

Thanks!

Yes I have seen that link which woiuld be fine if I had a 4X4. I do not.

I have a 2wd with stock height and wheels. I need to know if these tires will fit on what I have, not a 4WD vehicle, which is what your link refers to.

Thanks anyway.

Kind of hard to get four tires put on then remove them if they do not fit right and THEN put four more on. I know someone in here HAS to know or already has it done!

Also does not answer if they will fint on the stock rim?

Will the stock gears be ok with that tire size?

Where is BlazerLT when I need him!?!

Well if your going to a tire shop they should be able to do it.Your the customer.Gear shouldnt matter.

Well it is not a tire shop. I am having the tire tech at work put them on. I use the term "Tire Tech" loosely now because basically he has enough brain cells to mount the tire and balance it well.

He will know nothing about fitment. I am picking the tires up from a local tire warehouse. They only deal to wholesale customers and they do not know fitments, they only know what is in the warehouse.

I figured this board had a tire expert lurking that could help.

If gear does not matter, that is one thing out of the way. Just need to know if they fit ok (I think they will!) and if they fit on a stock rim.

Well it says I need a 2" lift to run the 30x9.5. That sucks because I am not lifting the truck.

Oh well. Was fun idea while it lasted =(

I wasn't sure as somebody squeezed them under in that one link.

Yeah but did not say if he used stock rims though. Can you fit a 30x9.5x15 on a 15x7 rim?

I have no idea?

Yeh cuz i have 15x7s on my truck for wheels.

Neat. I might just do it and if I have to just go ahead and mod the fender well a biut if scrubbing happens. Will post pics and let you guys know how it goes. Will happen either tomorrow OR monday at the latest.

Unless anyone has any objections.

In the mean time, about how many mpg's will I lose? 1-2? 3-5?

i dont know that,i have only ever had 2357515 on my 4x4 so i dont know.Shouldnt be too much plus you can always counter that with mods

Well I got tires put on today. Decided against the 30s and went with my original choice.

Overall I think I made the right choice on these Goodyear Wrangler RTS tires.

Looks good. I guess you went with the 235x75x15.

Yeah, the 30s were just too much to jam in there. It can be done but I did not want to be the one to do it.

I have the 30's but I went with the BFG All Terrain T/A's. I hated the tires I had on when I first bought the truck which was the Wrangler RTS which is what you just bought. I hope you have better luck then I did!

I got plain ol wranglers on mine i like em but havent drove the truck in about a month other than move it for the stupid frickin parade which was an adventure in itself.

Be glad you went with the 235x75s. I have 2000 4x4 LT and I put the 30x9.5s on and lost about 5 mpg. They don't rub at all and look great but I am going to switch back to the 235x75x15 something this week. Tires Plus/Firestone has a 30 day ride guarantee.

I like the improved look but hate the gas mileage.

Edit: I also have the stock 15x7 rims and the tires look great.
