Just thought I'd put this up in case anyone else had a similar problem.

The car wouldn't start intermittently, only a loud clicking could be heard. I had a bad battery that had to be replaced. Still the problem happened occasionally until one day it wouldn't start at all, just loud clicking.

I went under the car and found the connection to the alternator and tightened it. It took about a 1/4 to 1/2 a turn. The car started on the next try no problem. The problem hasn't happened since.
