What other year engines will fit in a 1990 Tracker?

So I just received the bad news that my 1990 Tracker has developed a rod knock at only 69K miles. Dissappointing to say the least.
What I need to know is what is the interchange years for the Tracker engines? What year engines bolt into a 1990 Tracker without having to change the ECU, Wiring Harness or mounts? I see some years have a 8v and some 16v engine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
