Check this out, I have a 99' Blazer with 125K on it that is in super great condition. It has been sitting for about a week, while I drive my other truck. I took it in for an oil change only to be told it is leaking antifreeze twords the rear of the engine. The level was still good so I took it home and parked it with a tray under it.

Well they are correct is is dripping but in like four spots, maybe 1 or 2 drops a day. There is no sign of antifreeze leaking from anywhere I can see in the engine compartment.

Can this be a rear or lower leaks that is puddling up and then runnning to a couple spots to drip. The truck runs great and there was no sign of antifreeze in the oil or anything like that. Any Ideas on where to look, I cannot get to far under the front to see.

I have never had the gaskets or hoses replaced. The shop by me said they can do all of them for about $850 does this sound like it is worth it if they would be replacing gaskets everywhere the cooling system has them.

Since the blazers are known for the intake manifold leaks, it could be leaking back by the distributer and running down the block. Check around the entire manifold. Check your heater hoses from the fire wall to where they end. Check the lower radiator hose. If you cant find a leak in any of these places, maybe you can start it and let it get hot and look for steam. Just some suggestions. Good luck

Check the coolant lines leading to your heater core first. Many times, they will leak at the firewall and drip down the back of the engine. THe cost to fix that is *nothing* if you pop the hoses off and clean the pipes sticking through the firewall, installing them with new screw clamps.
