blower motor problem

once you plug the power back up it should just work right??? my old one would blow whenever it felt like it so i took it to the dealer and they said the blower motor was going bad and i could install it and replace it. so i just took it out and put the new one in and plugged it up and i get nothing now nothing at all what to do??? do i have a bad blower motor???

you could possibly have a bad motor...also i would check the connection to make sure it is secure and is definately not the problem...i would also check the wiring to the motor

could be a bad blower motor resistor. It's an electrical resistor that varies the speed of the motor. When they first start to go you'll lose speeds one at a time until finally all that's left is high speed.
