Warm Start Problem on '00

Just bought a '00 Suburban, 5.3L Vorteck. Love the truck but it has a little trouble starting when the engine is warm.
Lights right off after sitting for an hour or so, or first thing in the morning. But after it runs a bit, is shut down, then restarted, it balks a little. Engine will start to "catch" but then dies if you don't feed it a little gas, or you have to crank the ignition for 5-10 seconds before it lights off.
Any clues?

Could be fuel pressure regulator. It leaks causing the engine to flood on warm start ups.
Hook up a fuel pressure guage and start the engine. Then turn off the engine and watch the pressure. It should not drop very fast. If it drops fast, it could be the fuel pressure regulator or a stuck injector. Most likely the fpr.
